Implementation Layer
Updated on Apr 23, 2023 3 minutes to readWhat is the Implementation Layer?
The Implementation Layer represents a set of administrative settings available at the user level. Access to the Implementation Layer requires administrative permissions; however, no special technical skills are needed. In simple terms, the Implementation Layer contains all settings that can be modified without knowledge of the Application Builder functionality.
To access the Implementation Layer, click on Settings in the main menu of the app.

What is the Implementation Layer used for?
The Implementation Layer is used for additional customization of both standard apps installed from the Marketplace and those developed within an account.
With the settings available in the Implementation Layer, the following actions can be performed:
- Configuring user access to an app. If an app supports additional role-based access settings, a user will not have access to the app unless assigned at least one role. In other words, they will not know of its existence. If an app does not support additional role-based access settings, it will be accessible to all users.
- Backup and restoration of an app. This refers to backing up a specific app rather than the entire account. This function is widely used when transferring an app between accounts.
- API. This section involves managing API tokens (creation, deletion, rotation).
- Actions. This section is used to create and manage endpoints for integration with external systems.
- Embedded forms. This section allows the creation of external forms that can be published on external resources (websites), such as contact forms for website lead generation.
- Scheduled jobs. This section is intended for managing background tasks. It allows modifying the schedule of standard app tasks and creating new tasks.
- Triggers. In this section, the app's nervous system is configured: actions to be performed under certain conditions (sending emails, push notifications, etc.).
- Third-party services. This section configures integration with third-party services that support rapid integration with the Every8.Cloud platform, such as GoSign.Online.
- App Settings. In this section, the app's appearance can be overridden.
- Print forms. This section allows for creating or overriding standard print forms for metadata objects, such as overriding the invoice print form of a standard app installed from the Marketplace.
- Statistics. This module enables checking the app's basic statistical data: size, access, the number of active users, API calls, etc.
- Audit log. As the name implies, this module provides access to the app's data object change log.
- Trigger tasks. This module is used to consult automatic tasks created by the app's triggers. It also allows restarting a task if necessary.
